Mrs. Patty LeCompte, M.Ed.
Mrs. Patty LeCompte launched LeCompte College Prep after a long career in public education both in Pennsylvania and New York. She moved to Florida for her "retirement," but the opportunity to once again work with high school students as a mentor in their college preparation was simply too good to pass up!
Patty has been a classroom teacher at the high school, community college, and university levels. She earned a Master's in Educational Leadership and is licensed as a High School Principal, Career & Tech/Vocational School Director, and teacher of multiple subjects. They include Marketing, Hotel Management, Cooperative Education, and Family/Consumer Sciences. She is an Executive Function Coach, a Myers-Briggs Practitioner (for careers/majors and personality tests), and graduated with 4.0 from the Independent Educational Consultant Certification Program at the University of California-Irvine.
Her involvement in DECA, a high school leadership organization, spanned nearly every level: student state officer, teacher, advisor, business sponsor, and judge. Professional recognition of her teaching includes selection as the top International HS Teacher of Hospitality, PA Career & Technical Teacher of the Year, and PA DECA Advisor of the Year.
Patty served as a community leader on Long Island, NY, where she and her late husband ran a full-service catering facility. She dedicated her time to serving as President of multiple organizations, donating countless hours in service to others. Patty is the proud Mom of Donald, who graduated debt-free from his dream university and is pursuing his professional life in California. Her vast experience will be passionately applied to help you excel at your right-fit college.
